Elizabeth Bramson-Boudreau Takes on Role of CEO and Publisher of MIT Technology Review as Jason Pontin Departs
Cambridge, MA – June 2, 2017 – Today, MIT Technology Review (www.technologyreview.com) announced a change in executive leadership. Jason Pontin has stepped down as editor in chief and publisher. In his tenure at the company, Mr. Pontin transformed the 100+-year-old magazine into a multimedia organization focused on the emerging technologies that matter most in solving the world’s greatest challenges.
“I’m proud of what the people at MIT Technology Review achieved during the last thirteen years,” says Mr. Pontin, who was hired as editor in chief in 2004 and became the company’s CEO and publisher in 2005. “It has been the honor of my career to work with them. I know that there will be even better things in the future.”
Effective immediately, Elizabeth Bramson-Boudreau takes on the role of CEO and publisher of MIT Technology Review. In this capacity, Ms. Bramson-Boudreau will oversee all business initiatives and partnerships as the media organization executes its growth strategy.
