MIT Technology Review and Open Innovations Forum in Moscow Announce Knowledge Collaboration
Moscow, Russia and Cambridge, Massachusetts, US - February 21, 2013 -
MIT Technology Review, an independent media company founded at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, becomes a Knowledge Producer for the Open Innovations Forum, the premier summit for technology, investment and entrepreneurship in Russia. MIT Technology Review produces publications read by a global community of nearly five million business leaders, innovators, developers, tech entrepreneurs, academics, and government officials in six languages and on a variety of digital and print platforms. Their live events bring the award-winning journalism to life around the world.
In 2013, the Open Innovations Forum and Expo will be held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre, Moscow, October 29 - November 1. Last year it was visited by more than 10,000 people from Russia and 39 other countries. They participated in 150 program events led by more than 700 speakers.
MIT Technology Review’s experts will advise on the design of the Forum’s program. In cooperation with the Forum’s Program Committee they will review and provide in depth analysis of topics, themes, titles, formats and speakers, develop scenarios and propose key issues for discussion for plenary and track events, and participate there as the moderators.
MIT Technology Review will also provide consultation to the forum’s Youth Program and advise young innovators on best practices for systems and processes for startups and commercialization. Since 1999, MIT Technology Review has selected exceptionally talented young innovators whose work the company, their peers, and a distinguished panel of judges have agreed has the greatest potential to transform the world.

The Open Innovations Forum is a venue for global discussion of new technologies and of prospects for international cooperation in the innovation field. The purpose of the event is to identify technology trends, determine the role of the innovation ecosystem in global processes, and compile Russian and international agenda for innovative development.
